The mystery of The Sun God began in 2007, when Sol HDA received TSG's self-titled debut album with a request to release it on iTunes and a little information about the band. The Sun God, made up of musicians who go by the names Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn, refused to reveal their identities or whereabouts. The debut album, which came out on July 7, 2007, opened with a strange Prelude, then transitioned quickly into an alternative rock blend of musical styles with poetic lyrics, fantastic guitar riffs and a unique psychedelic style.
