Humanity's most fundamental understanding of the Sun is as the luminous disk in the sky, whose presence above the horizon creates day and whose absence causes night. In many prehistoric and ancient cultures, the Sun was thought to be a solar deity or other supernatural phenomenon. Worship of the Sun was central to civilizations such as the Inca of South America and the Aztecs of what is now Mexico.
The Story of the Sun is a magical journey through space and time. Think rock/indie songs with programmed electronic beats and enough angst to power an emo-spaceship. These songs are best experienced in the car, at night, with the sound cranked up, the seats reclined and the sunroof open, parked somewhere deserted so that all that lies between you and the stars is your own imagination. All of our stories, in the end, can be traced back to the story of the Sun.
