Simply put, The Starrs are a great band with undeniably catchy songs and an energetic live show that will leave you speachless! Exhibiting great precision in crafting their perfect power pop gems, The Starrs will leave any top 40s fan drooling and wanting more. This emerging Appleton, WI trio is making a name for themselves with extensive touring and great national hype.
Originally named Antifreeze, (Hollywood Kung Fu Records) The Starrs have toured worldwide supporting bands like Sum-41, the Ataris, and MxPx, and as Antifreeze had headlined tours with opening acts (albeit pre-modern day success) such as Fall Out Boy, Yellowcard, the Starting Line, Story of the year, and Plain White T's.
In April of 2005, the band ventured out to New York City per request of RCA Records. Not wanting to get caught up in the major label grinder just yet (but just wait...), The Starrs decided to sign with Milwaukees premier indie, Snapdragon Records. But dont let that sway your perception of this trio; their Snapdragon debut LP "Silhouette sounds like a major label release and is chock full of songs that are destined for radio greatness.
