Coming out of the Orlando area, THE SHOWDOWN DISTRICT has created a smooth and enjoyable sound using powerful vocals, unique instrumentation, and driving rhythms. With influences from Americana (Ryan Adams) to Folk (Mason Jennings) to Bluegrass (Old Crow Medicine Show, Soggy Bottom Boys), the end result is a healthy blend of the three, and then some. -- Point man and songwriter, Harrison Tyler, leads the performance with Guitar and Vocals. He is accompanied by Brandon (Banjo) and Haley Parsons on back up vocals producing seamless 3-part harmonies. Technical drum beats by Mike Detzel provide the rythm, and tying everything together with Roaming/Jazzy Bass lines is Jesse Stahler. -- In a single set, THE SHOWDOWN DISTRICT can take their audience on a journey that reaches all styles of music from old timey bluegrass to alternative.
