Dallas trio fusing lovely 60's jangle pop, psych, 70's punk and garage into a modern indie treat by way of the realm of Velvet Underground, The Vaselines, Belle and Sebastian, T. Rex, Yo La Tengo, The Runaways, etc.
The Shapes have been around for five years, and with a drummer newly replaced are presently finishing their first full length album with help from Mark Ridlen (Lithium Xmas)to debut soon in the new year of '09. Look for a March or April release along with the return to the stage...it has been so long.
