Phoenix Band, The Scenic Line, has set out to create a sound focused on songwriter Dustin Lee's early musical influences. While originally shunning the early country his parents would listen to, he found a new respect for the twang of a telecaster after shuffling about in the over saturated punk and emo scene. Combined with drumming talents of Nate Raible and the funk and jazz influence of bassist Will Rouse, The Scenic Line has created a simple, loveable sound with a fusion of country, pop, rock and jazz. Mix that with Dustin's punk background and high energy shows and The Scenic Line has a complete package that cannot be ignored. They are currently working on their first full-length album to be released Spring of 2008.
