The Ruined are an energetic five-piece from Peterborough playing horror influenced punk rock. The band have been doing the rounds for over two years, but have all been in bands for much longer (including skacore crew $up). In that time they have released two EPs and a recently completed album. The band have unleashed their hectic live show to every end of the country, having embarked on three successful UK tours. In this time they have supported some top acts along the way, including The Damned, Howards Alias, Gallows, Jesse James, Enter Shikari and The Vincent Razorbacks amongst many others.

The band take influence from a number of contemporary and classic bands including The Misfits, The Offspring, The Ramones, Send More Paramedics, Nekromantix and Turbonegro. Some more songs can be heard at www.myspace.com/theruined
