Connecting with fans during their live concerts is this bands unique ability. All across the midwest the rest of us is crafting their show and building their fan base. An audience favorite that has set this band apart is their version of the 3 Doors Down song Kryptonite. In the middle of the song they bring listeners through a hilarious parody that involves a reggae version, high screaming 80's metal version, white boy rap, and then ending with an Inrique Iglesias version. On any given night you may hear them perform songs from Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Matchbox 20, Live, and many more artists. Their ability to play a variety of music styles helps a wide range of fans to automatically connect with their music. Venue goers often rave about the bands originals as well. Although their originals are truly unique, the band cites U2, Goo Goo Dolls, and 3 Doors Down as big influences on their original work.
I think they have a good shot at making it if they keep working hard, Andy Vanmeter (sound engineer - Dustin Evans, Pomeroy) said when talking about the rest of us. Rocking out for five years together as a band, they hope to take to the road full-time in a year and a half. They will no doubt keep making waves in the music industry, and in December they will receive their chance for the biggest wave yet. Finding themselves at Starlight Theater (Rock The Light) this past September, they not only performed on The Edge side stage the same day as national recording artists Jeremy Camp and Third Day, they also won the Selectric Records Band Competition. As the winners, they are receiving a development deal with Selectric Records (Monday Morning, Cross Culture). They will be recording December 16th through the 18th at the Selectric Records Studios in Nashville to prepare for a possible national release. Look for them this upcoming January on the sky is falling tour. The tour includes the drummer from Super Chick Brandon Estelles solo project.
