THE RAZE

The Raze was founded in 2004 by Turtle (guitar player) and former drummer Whitt Herring and bass player Dvae Williams . The Raze at that time had no real direction for the band or any real plans . We played one show which Dave didnt even show up for . Then in August of 2005 singer Nolan Dacus came into the picture to take over vocals for the band . The Raze then wrote four or five demo songs which can be found on our purevolume . We practiced alot but when things didnt work out with Whitt and different opinions arose Whitt left . Around the same time that complications arose with Whitt Dave Williams moved to Oklahoma city making practicing harder with a fourty five minuete drive seperating him from the rest of the raze but hopefully having Dave in okc willl open oppurtunities to get involved in the Okc punk scene. The Raze warmly welcomed new drummer Nate Napalm Caswell . Now with the sole intention of speaking out against social inequalities and political injustices in our society today the raze is goinbg into the studio to record their first ep . It will have around six tacks on it we will post it as soon as its done .
