In late 2001 my wife Cynthia and I bought a 4-track recorder and some computer software. We had no idea what we were going to do with it except that it would be a step up from the hundred or so 90 minute cassettes I had filled up over the years. Little did we know how far we would go and how many people we would annoy in such a short amount of time.
In 2003 I started a side project (with Cindy's help) called The Earworms. The Earworms soon had a life of their own in the form of an alien named Platyhelminth and a Pumpkin faced girl whose name changes from time to time. It was not long before the Earworms became more popular than The Radiant Dregs...at least that is the impression our one or two fans give us.
To date we have recorded Eight full length CD's (nearly 80 minutes each), We are a household name in at least three houses, we have handed out hundreds and hundreds of CD's to the unsuspecting public, and we publish a compilation CD called Sediment for people who are like us and want somebody to hear their work.
Check us out, buy our CD's for near cost at www.dorfsmith.com and lastly, support Independent Music!
