Members: Joe M, Bri P, Chuck C, John Q
The New Aggression, based out of the burbs of Philadelphia, was the brainchild of John Quigley (vocals, guitar) and Chuck Cost (drums). They wanted a project, based around their passion for a particular sound, and melded with their own personal influence. They had always been tuned in to the raging punk rock scene - the manic yet melodic sounds, the madness it ensued - and began pursuing that medium. After a few lineup changes, the dust settled upon 2 seasoned Philly scene musicians. Shredder Joe Miller (lead guitar) and Bri Palmer(bass guitar) took interest and joined in. The union of the 4 created a sound that shakes sidewalks. The New Aggression puts forth an edgy, raw, yet crisp and polished sound ranging from fast punk two-steps to off time melodic breakdowns and beautiful 3-part harmonies. TNA fuses together their many influences to form their own brand of catchy power-pop-punk. They pack the stage with an intensity and energy that awes fans causing their mouths to water in anticipation for their next live performance. The New Aggression has given opening tour support to national signed artists, such as The Queers, The Independents, Valencia, Giving Chase, Sound the Alarm, City Sleeps and Tokyo Rose.
