The Nerd Who Ate St. Louis is a ridiculous name. This is therefore a suitable title for this two year long ska project that was created by a group of teenagers with a lot of time to waste and a love for the Wendy's value menu. From our humble beginnings as a poorly organized high school "coffeehouse" act, we soon grew into a legitimate band. We played with the best of the best in our genre as we have opened for Catch 22, Big D and the Kids Table, Streetlight Manifesto, Bowling For Soup, MXPX, Reel Big Fish, Badfish, and countless other local and touring bands. And, just like a real band, we organized practices, wrote ten original songs, played those songs till we were tired of them, and then had a bunch of "farewell shows" past our prime.

Yet, when all is said and done, all good things must come to an end. The Nerd would like to thank every band that shared a stage with us and every kid that bought a shirt, CD, or even remembered our unnecessarily long name. We appreciate all the support we've received over the past two years, and in return, we have posted our entire CD "If You're Happy and You Know It..." here on Purevolume for your enjoyment.
