I like the orchestral weavings in Salty Eyes. Sounds very different from E. Von Dahl, though. Still good, don\'t sweat it. Dec 10

i love E. Von Dahl but honestly, I enjoy it when bands shake things up a bit decomposer sounds great to me not the old punk band they used to be, but I think it takes an open mind (in this case, perhaps a bit more open though) Sep 17

Mr Hat is correct though, this album IS quite remniscient of Hot Hot Heat. I don\'t know exactly who the Matches\' influences are, but this nothing like the punk band I once knew. Sep 14

Ew, Hot Hot Heat? What? Are you smoking el crack-o? This album is the shit. Although it isn\'t as awesome as E. Von Dahl killed the locals, it sounds nothing like Hot Hot Heat. It\'s still has very much of the same quirky uniqueness of the first album, and I\'ve been playing it nonstop. I highly highly highly reccommend it. Sep 14
