The Misunderestimated Amurricans are a punk rock band out of Hudson, Ohio. Inspired by the likes of the Sex Pistols, Pennywise, and Bad Religion, The MAs are distinguished by their vocals, which have been compared to those of Johnny Rotten, their chainsaw guitar work, punchy, forceful bass work that is ever prevalent in their music, and the speed drums with simple beats driving the band. They are fighting the mainstream rap and pop/rock that has dominated the airwaves in the past years, and trying to bring back the short-lived, but always lurking genre that truly is punk rock.
