The Martyr's Sympathy
A martyr is someone who dies because of what they believe in. Sympathy is generally what we feel when we feel sorry for something or someone. The Martyr's Sympathy is the lament one feels for a world that executes people for their beliefs before they too are executed.
My name is Adam Fernandez, but you can call me whatever you like. I was never into politics before 9/11. It changed me just as it did most of you. These songs are my lament for my country and the world as we inch closer to killing ourselves. I believe in God and I believe that the ones who are in this country using God's name to justify their discrimination towards anyone who doesn't believe in what they strictly believe in are false prophets. These people in the so-called "Bible Belt" are misled and misinformed, and they are looking to mislead and misinform you.
Everyone has something they believe in. Nobody wants to die. Everyone has the right to live, the right to love, and the right to be free, regardless of anything. Are you willing to defend what you believe in? What's your sympathy?
