Well, TLE have hit the road hard since the last installment of the news. The second European tour for this year has finished up, with the guys playing at some pretty epic summer festivals on the other side of the globe, taking in Denmark, Germany, Finland and Sweden.

The guys are back on local shores now, but not for long! They are heading back to Europe not once more this year but TWICE. Firstly, for countries missed on this most recent festival run will be the August dates that take in the legendary Leeds & Reading festivals in the UK, amongst others. Then, to cap off the year in style TLE will pack up their Raise the Alarm Tour and take it to stages all over the place in November & December. Dates below, along with the awesome poster for the German shows. Stay tuned as more are set to be announced soon!

Here is a little something special for the UK fans out there. Artist Ticket are running a TLE Meet & Greet competition. All you need to do is snap up tickets in during the special pre-sale which runs until 9.00am Monday July 13th. Anyone making a booking through Artist Ticket for any of the dates will automatically be entered into a draw to win a Meet & Greet at the venue they have booked tickets for. Some truly exceptional news on the home front now. On June 23rd, Chris Cheney walked away with the prestigious APRA Song of the Year award for White Noise! Putting him alongside the likes of Powderfinger, Augie March and Daniel Johns, this award is the single biggest peer voted music award in Australia. Chris was absolutely delighted with the win, saying:

"I am absolutely overwhelmed to have won the APRA Song of the Year. It's a great honor to receive such a prestigious award and having not been nominated before makes this all the more special. Writing songs is a very personal and rewarding experience for me and so for White Noise to be recognised in such a way by my peers is very humbling."

Chris will be appearing in the upcoming White Album Concerts with Tim Rogers (You Am I) Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon) and Josh Pyke this August. More dates have been added to accommodate the overwhelming demand for tickets. These are drawing close already so get on quick. The Triple J Hottest 100 Of All Time is being counted down all this week. Here at TLE HQ we are all keeping our fingers crossed that some TLE will be in there somewhere. Hit up the Triple J Website, they are updating the list as they count down the tracks!

Now, for those in New Zealand that missed The Living End at this years Big Day Out, fantastic news! The Living End will be joining Shihad, Airborne and Lugar Boa on The Rock's massive Legal Tender arena tour in October. Tickets go on sale July 13, all dates below as always.

Finally, after bombarding you with so much touring news we saved the releases news for last. Some good news for our Canadian friends, TLE have inked a deal with local label Dine Alone/Universal records. We are very excited to announce that the truly behemoth White Noise is set for Canadian release on September 15th!
