With barely a weeks break at home the band are gearing up to head off on their second European tour for 2009. This run will see them play a run of festivals, sharing stages with the likes of Radiohead, Kings of Leon, the Arctic Monkeys and many, many more.

Now, if that isn't enough good news (or live shows) for our friends across the waters, a string of dates for August have just been announced,with more to come. Inclusive of these dates is the festival aficionados dream; the Leeds & Reading Festivals! As usual all TLE dates at the bottom of the mailer.

Some very exciting news now. Chris Cheney has been nominated for the APRA Song of the Year award for White Noise! The awards ceremony takes place in Melbourne on June 23. Fingers crossed!

You know, The Living End are the only band in the world to place in 10 consecutive Triple J Hottest 100's. We think that is pretty rad. Now Triple J have opened voting for their Hottest 100 Of All Time. If you feel the need to vote for your fave TLE tracks you can do so at the Triple J Website.

Now, we hinted at this in the last installment of the TLE news, but now we have some more information for you. That's right, Chris Cheney will be teaming up with Tim Rogers (You Am I) Phil Jamieson & Josh Pyke for the White Album Concert Series in August. These shows will see them tackle the legendary White Album by The Beatles, backed by a 17 piece band. If this is for you get in quick, tickets are selling fast.
