Hey I'm Ali from Perris CA. Yeah i wished i was from Effiel Tower country, but hey I'm content with my small city and the friends I have here. I'm am not striving for a rock star dream or anything, my music is just a hobby and helps keep me sane. I write lyrics faster than I compose... so that is a bit of a problem! But hey it's a step in the right direction. So I have a good 15-20 songs lying around collecting dust, but i will get around to them. I'm an upper classman in highschool, so i'm swamped with work, sport practices, and activites, so finding time to put music to words is limited. Half the time i'm either at softball practice, studying, tennis practice, or procastinating, soo.... music takes place while I sleep. >
I have had my one chick band, The Lighthouse Effect, since the 7th... 8th grade, but was just too lazy to put up a website. The name of the band is personally symbolic, and it's meaning has been able to get me through some rough times. I mean if you were to see my room, one half of it has some lighthouse related thing in it. As of right now I am currently under way with a song called "In A Better Place", and hopefully will complete it some time after Christmas. Keys are not my forte, so still learning in the process.

The song "A Non-violent Alternative" was written and composed by me, and my friends at school for a World History Project. Basically, I wrote the song, made up the melody/harmony, played the guitar and drums, and directed how the song should sound. I had my friends Jules (keys), T.J (Soprano vocals), Jelly (Alto Vocals), and Ruth (Bass> it does not appear in recording, but in performance) contribute to the project, thus forming the Jatra Revolution. It was a one time school thing, but the song that was created would last forever. MAN THAT'S CHEESY. Scratch that. It is probably best to check out the background of the song before listening to it. It is in the blogs, so check it out if you want to know the "historical" value of it.

So yeah enjoy the song. Warn you though that some where in the middle the mic got all dumb... student production status! ^_~* If you would like to comment you can e-mail me or use that little commenting thing on the right of this. I will probably be posting some demos pretty soon, but as far as complete songs, that is still underway.

Thanx for checking out my page!
