In the summer of 2006, Jordan Haugan, Nick Holguin, and Brian Anderson got together and discovered the sound that would later become the foundation for The Leads. Initially, the future was uncertain; a vision had never been cast. At times, it may have appeared as though The Leads were satisfied with their prior state of musicality, however feelings of discontent and emptiness left them wanting more. A longing for bigger and better things emerged when they re-examined their full potential. Their previous void of musical implementation was filled when the newest member, Nate Boone joined later that year, adding a whole new dimension to a sound they had always envisioned. Finally, the pieces of this puzzle were coming together

With this new musical arrangement, they began to write songs throughout the summer and into the school year. As they matured, so did their music. When asked to summarize the ideas behind the music, songwriter Jordan Haugan wrote, I want to create music that people will love and enjoy, yet provoke thought that transcends the customary constraints that envelop our society. Their once uncertain future has been transformed into the clear vision they had always hoped for.

So, what is the future of The Leads? The way I feel, stated Nick Holguin, its gonna be a new year and a new beginning for us. Boone added, Im really excited for our new songs and I think our audience will be pleasantly surprised with our new sound. One thing is for sure: The Leads will be playing as many shows as possible in the days that followkeep checking back for updates on their latest shows!
