THE LAST GREAT BRIDGE JUMPER

Post Hardcore / Emo / Rock

The Last Great Bridge Jumper has been causing quite a stir around the Gwinnett County area. Gwinnett is a place dominantly populated by hardcore bands, those with growling vocals, many machinegun riffs and harmonics like crazy. But somehow, The Last Great Bridge Jumper has been able to avoid buying into the scene. Their influences could be the cause: Most members of the band are into a more pop-punk sound. They are influenced by a number of drastically different sounding bands, from Relient K to Lamb of God to Fall Out Boy to the ever-present UnderOath influence. Somehow all these influences melt together in their upcoming debut CD release "Everything Happens for a Reason". A ten-song melting pot of diversely melodic choruses and heavy beat breakdowns that is sure to have something for everyone, be it a hardcore breakdown with machinegun riffs, a rhythmic bass solo, a grungy southern rock song, or an upbeat song that leaves you singing along. Somehow, all these different sounds melt together, cohere, and intertwine with each other to make the basis for the upcoming sensation that is The Last Great Bridge Jumper.

[NOTE: The recording for "Turning Home" is from an earlier band that eventually became TLGBJ called "Agape" [pronounced ah-gah-pay]. The lineup for that band was James Jin on lead vocals, David Lee on drums, Burch on lead guitar, Ryan on guitar/BGVs, and Zach on bass.]
