God came to me in a dream riding a Paisley scooter, he had a neat hair do and was wearing a suit with a one inch tie. He held out his hand and in it was a fortune cookie. Upon opening the fortune cookie the message read:
'Thou shalt be called The Kashmirs.....with a K!'
The Kashmirs came about in October 2005 and have since been performing in and around Liverpool establishing themselves on the current Indie scene. Performing in popular venues such as The Zanzibar, Heebee Jeebees, Bumper and The Metropolitan.
The band are made up of Wesley Hughes (Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Mark Bradshaw (Lead Guitar/Backing Vocals), Sheriff Kelly (Bass Guitar), and Craig Doyle (Drums/Percussion).
The bands current self titled Blue E.P. consists of crowd favourite '12th Of Never', a song that captures you with its crunchy rhythm guitar sound and punchy bass line, also 'Some Other Time' a pacy energetic song about being overwhelmed by a girl you once gave the boot!
With the bands new Red E.P. soon to be delivered with songs such as 'Leave Me Alone' and 'Fall By The Way Side', The Kashmirs can only move on to bigger and better things.
