There’s nothing worse than squinting against the hot Texas sun. Oh wait, there is, and it’s squinting against the Texas sun after a night of showcases until 4 am. No matter how hard you rage at South By, you’re going to stay up late, which means you’re going to need a place to hide your eyes until that cup of coffee (or three) kicks in. We’re fans of the classic Ray Ban Wayfarer ourselves, but really any shades will do. Look out for free branded sunnies at day parties too, which is especially useful if you lose yours or forget them in your hotel room (or somebody else’s).
