The Hostiles started out in February of 2005. Our original line-up consisted of:
Stevie: Bass, Vocals
Matt: Guitar, Bkg. Vocals
Ryan: Drums, Bkg. Vocals

With this line-up, we continued to suck for about a year, and then tried to start getting shows and writing our own songs soon after. In May of 2006, two hours after Matt quit The Hostiles, Joey Russo joined The Hostiles as a Guitarist and Vocalist. It was then that we really started to kick off and start being a real band, and really commiting to our music. So the line-up was, and is still:

Stevie: Bass, Vocals
Joey: Guitar, Vocals
Ryan: Drums, Bkg. Vocals

In late Summer of 2006, we released our first self-recorded, 7 Track Demo, "Secret Animal Penthouse".
On September 30th, 2006, we played our first show at Club Vertigo, and ever since we have been playing shows around the Rutland/Ludlow area with such bands as Orange Juice, The Hounds of Hell, Deathpact, and many others.
