Arizona is not exactly known for its flourishing scene, overcrowded shows, or it's hundreds of driven independent musicians; but Lake Havasu City's The Hope of Change is exactly what is going to change all of that.
Having formed in 2003, the determined and passionate band, The Hope of Change, has caught on fast in the metal and hardcore scene everywhere. In only three years, The Hope of Change has managed to push themselves further than typical bands make it in whole careers by concentrating heavily on song structure, live performance, and intimacy with their fans. Due to their hectic schedule of shows. The band's high energy live performances showcasing their hook infused metal compositions has caused the group to receive high praise from showgoers and heavy music fans across the United States.
To The Hope of Change's advantage, their buzz around California, Arizona, and Texas didn't take long to reach the Canadian label Harvest Earth Records who were nothing short of impressed by the undeniable amount of talent on display. With the help of the independent label, The Hope of Change was able to take things further with their first official release "Hourglass" in 2005. Immediately following the release of the album, which was recognized by well respected media outlets such as HM Magazine and Metalreview.com as being one of the top metalcore releases for the year. The group hit the road and completed four extremely well attended US tours in the short time span of 6 months.
Nationwide appearances with other growing artists as well as previously established acts like, Haste The Day, Still Remains, The Acacia Strain, Atreyu, Dead To Fall, Nodes Of Ranvier, Comeback Kid, It Dies Today, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, Into The Moat, Ion Disonnance, Job For A Cowboy, Suicide Silence, The Red Death, Embrace The End, Himsa, Seventh Star, As Hope Dies, Chasing Victory, Blessed By A Broken Heart and many more have sent the band on their way to bigger and better tours in the near future. And since the 2005 release of "Hourglass" and its supporting tours, anticipation has only continues to build as The Hope of Change enters the writing process for their next full length album on a yet to be determined label.
Our full length album entitled "Hourglass" is out on Harvest Earth Records. You can order it from www.harvestearth.com!
We try to tour at least six months of the year, so come check us out!
