What started out as a modest project has grown into something spectacular, reaching across state lines, across the internet and into the hearts of people world-wide.
The Hope Movement (THM) creates an experience that shows the awesome power of music and the effect it can have on human emotions.
âAfter posting some of our music on MySpace, e-mails, text messages, Tweets, and facebook posts have started coming in on a regular basis, with people telling us that a song has helped them through trying times, or gotten them through lonely nights,â says Eric Brown, lead guitar and singer.
âItâs truly humbling to be part of something like thisâ added John Plank, guitar and vocals.
The Hope Movement (THM) began in May 2008 when guitarist and singer Eric Brown started writing simple songs with the goal of making people feel better about life and helping them through the rough times.
âWeâre just four guys from Montana sharing our hopes, our dreams, and letting people know that thereâs real hope in this world and that hope is eternal,â added Brown
Since THMâs beginning, Brown has enlisted the help of close friends in music to help with the cause. Combined, the band has been playing music for the better part of a century.
THM is one of the hardest working bands out there, recording their debut album, âSignals Through Your Stereoâ in just 9 ½ days, from start to finish with famed producer, Aaron Hougland, (Fall Out Boy, AFI).
The Hope Movement has shared the stage with such acts as Sanctus Real, Decyfer Down, and KJ-52.
