The Hippie Smell is a reggae-ska band formed in the drummers garage in virginia beach, by 4 hippies who had two common interests, their love for smoking spilffs and the musical talent of Bradley Nowell. It's a simple formula, music and love. Hippie Smell formed their own edge with the songs "Livin it Up" and "the song everybody knows". Their unique styles add spunk and originality to each and every one of their songs. Hippie Smell includes the musical talents of Chris Rodriguez better known as Elow, on Guitar, Anthony Monteiro ("Poppins") on Bass, Clint(oligist), Vocals, and Chris Whithead ("Cheech") on drums; all of which have an intense passion for music and put that passion into their own music.
