In early November 2005 Matthew Campbell was inspired and felt a call to form a band of Dudes that had a higher call than just to play Music and create "Musical Fusion".A call from God to protray his son's sacrafice with Music.....

The only problem was he was in need of other muscians that felt the same way .The first and original line-up contained of Matthew Campbell on Lead Vocals and Lead Guitar,Then Josh Stoltz(A classmate)on Guitar and Backing Vocals and Then Mikey Meadows(One of Joshs' many Band friends)on Drums and Percussion.Soon the band had Decided on the Name of "The Higher Ground".Whitch meant that when you're saved you stood on higher ground with Jesus.But soon after(a few weeks to be close to Exactly) They discovered they had different views and Mikey decided to leave.

Soon (the very next day) they found a Replacement for Mikey,Devan Cartwright(Another classmate).Though they had already lost members in the first early months of the band,the Fresh new line-up was locked up and ready to go.And with the new Lineup came a new name "A Change of Plans"whotch seemed to fit sciance the band had already had new members...

Matthew and Josh soon had finished writing two brand new tracks titled,"Redemption" and "One Last Chance".Then the band practiced every Monday,Wednesday,and Friday for Two hours in the anything but Luxurious Band room at Red Bank Middle School.Using the Equipment they had or "Borrowed"they practiced for Six weeks Straight.

Soon the Red Bank Middle School tallent show came.And the Band had decided that they were ready for there first "Real" gig,So they signed up to play "One Last Chance".Then two weeks later the Tallent Try-out came..And the Frontman was as nervous as ever ,even though the band had practiced for countless numbers of hours.When they heard the were on they asked for a moment to pray,Whitch they did.

The first attempt to play the song-Screw up...Second time-Screw Up....Third time was Half-Decent..But good enough to get them on the roster....But when the Mandatoy Rehursals came next week Josh was No where to be found..So the guys were forced to drop out...

Josh had decided to leave(for "Unknown" reasons of Dissagreement)This left the band no other choice but to Breakup....

Now in July 2006 Matthew ,the only original member,Has set off to start a new band,This time to suceed in his Original call.Hopefully if all goes well Matt will be back(hopefully) by December with a New band,New material,and Gigs at local Churches,Clubs,Coffee Houses,and Even Birthday Parties.
But until this all happens we can only pray all goes as planned...Josh left to form another band...While Devan has decided to quit music and strat working toward staring up his very own Car Repair shop in Red Bank,Tennessee.
