Members: Dean Ford, Dan Capaldi, Marcel Hamel, Nate Marchand
The Goodnight Process is an indie pop band based out of Portland ME. The band consists of Dean Ford (singer/songwriter), Dan Capaldi (guitarist), Nate Marchand (drums), and Marcel Hamel (bass).
Forming in 2007, there was really no initial idea of becoming a serious, working band. But after performing together for several months, they began writing as a band and decided to take things a bit more seriously. And in turn, the following year was spent writing, arranging, recording, and financing their debut EP, "The Way Things Are" which will be released at the start of 2009.
Regardless of the short period of time the band has been together, they already have quite a nice track record, having shared the stage with such acts as Sondre Lerche, Saosin, Forever The Sickest Kids, Mayday Parade, This Providence, Anthony Green, The Dear Hunter, Person L, The Last Goodnight, etc. It goes without saying that something very special is happening in little old Portland ME.
