The Ghost Sonata is a 5 piece indie rock band that calls the small towns of CT home. The band formed from the few remaining members of various other bands (Daughter Dance Alchemist, A Season Lost, etc.) With musical tastes ranging from indie to hardcore The Ghost Sonata are blending these styles and covering their tracks with loud drums and flowing guitars. The stories that the vocals tell create a heartfelt and energetic live show. The vocal style, which is somewhere between soft melodies and old school sing alongs, meshes well with the bands musical aspects. With an undeniable love for writing new music, touring, and Super Smash Brothers Melee on nintendo gamecube The Ghost Sonata is determined to have their music heard. Brian(Drums) Jay (bass) Robbie (guitar) Jono (guitar) and Mike (vocals) are the names behind the rock. The band was brought together after Brian and Mike (brothers) started playing together and writing music, eventually Robbie and Jay, friends and previous bandmates, joined up and began writing the first songs of the "When Stories Come To Life" EP. A bit later in the band's life Jono (the state of virginia) brought his fondess for grits, rock, and intricate guitar lines into the band. With the addition of Jono to the band, Mike transitioned to vocals and The Ghost Sonata we know today was born. By writing music they love, and playing relentlessly anywhere and everywhere, The Ghost Sonata only wants to make good music.
