Band started to play in the summer of 2001 after our former band splitted up. We wanted to start something new, something that we like. The Farewell Reason was born. The music that we play is hardcore/punk but you can also call it emo or screamo or whatever you want. We just wanted to play music that can express ourselves, our emotions, feelings, our anger…
We started as a 3-piece and in spring of 2003 second guitarist joined the band. The current line up is Igor (6 strings axe and vocals), Pinta (6 string axe), Filo (4 strings axe) and Strija (drums). The lyrics are our personal views on several topics, they are personal but sometimes also political. Band supports the D.I.Y. (do-it-yourself) way of work because we think that this hardcore scene should be free of big companies, sponsorships and record deals etc. We are always open for any kind of discussions so if you have anything in your mind and want to talk to us you can write or talk to us somewhere and if you want us to rock your basement, living room or your local club we will be your friends forever.
