Striving to ascertain accessible yet subtly complex pieces of music that introduce a sonic identity missing from the groups you could not pick out of a line-up of 10, the group has independently released their debut EP in March 07 and hit the road all summer throughout the Midwest. Having released their debut EP on Third Shift Recordings the band feverishly continues to develop a personality in sound. All at once delicate, overtly melodic, haunting, feverish, heated, and lingering, the groups new material is building off the pop rock foundation laid by the self titled EP. The Appliances Have Gone Berserk, an excitable, political rave-up, and If You Go are a platform for the dual guitar pile-driving bursts and the belligerent and sinister rhythm section to shine. Over Me is kicked off with melancholic piano and guitar, churning and chiming in over an electro two-step groove before diffusing into a euphoric coda. Write You In melds a simple, Beethovenian piano melody with an insidious string sample over a jerky drum pattern. The simple Things We Lost in the Fire, a commentary on unconditional love taken to dangerous levels, places delicate acoustic guitars on top of a wheezing, injured organ before releasing into a piano laden outro. The group is set to record a full length album in the winter of 07/08 and hit the road.
