The Excitement! started it’s beginning like most other bands, a group of friends with a few cool ideas. Only two months after the band formed, they entered the studio to record their debut EP, simply titled, “The Excitement!â€. A small stint of shows quickly gained the band's popularity around the surrounding tri-state areas, and later landed them shows with bands such as; Hawthorne Heights, June, Just Surrender, Farewell, Scenes From A Movie, and School Boy Humor, to name a few. Soon after, the band had a run of “bad luck†with an ever revolving door of lead guitarists, and equipment being stolen from their practice spot which prevented them from playing shows.
Now, with a solid new line up, and a slew of new songs, The Excitement! is back, recommited, and ready to share their music with the world. Be on the look out for The Excitement! In a town near you!
