THEE L.A. GENTLEMEN CALLERS

Rock / Powerpop / Punk

Thee L.A. Gentlemen Callers are a 5 piece, three guitar, rock and roll riot. Loud and proud, These gentlemen think disco still sucks and are beating the tar outta white belts one show at a time. The current incarnation of Thee L.A. Gentlemen Callers has been together just over a year and has already shared bills with such notables as 400 Blows, Immortal Lee County Killers, and The Circle Jerks, whose drummer, Kevin Fitzgerald, has described Thee Callers as, "A force to be reckoned with." Whenever Wheneverland is Thee L.A. Gentlemen Callers debut effort and was recorded by Manny Nieto, known to those in the know as frontman for the mighty Distortion Felix. Manny has recorded Mars Volta, the Breeders, and the Icarus Line, along with the creme de la creme of local L.A. bands that you haven't heard of but soon will. With influences ranging from the song craft of Paul Weller, Robert Pollard, and Uncle Tupelo to the bombast of Jawbreaker and Dinosaur Jr., the songs on Whenever Wheneverland carry the torch of rock and roll with a beer soaked intensity not felt since the days when the Replacements stole your heart.
