The new album is finished and on it's way to the plant. The Band is gearing up for some small venue promo shows in the Southeastern United States which will be announced in Febuary, and will include venues of only 350 capacity or less. "In Flagrante Delicto" is scheduled for release April 16th, 2006. It will be available via Itunes, amazon.com, FYE.com, several other distributors, and of course live shows. A presale will begin in the next few weeks when the official website goes online.


The Drownout combine errie soundscapes with a pop sensibility punctuated by powerful melodies and fast, driving dance beats. The band creates dense sonic textures that support the dark nature of the lyrical content. Influences range from the Police, MC5, Nirvana, and Duran Duran. Their debut album In Flagrante Delicto is scheduled for release in late April 2006, and promises to contain interesting but accessible songs about love, greed, and dissapointment.
