The Donde Stars are a spire twisting beauty rock band from a quaint little inbred village called Tonypandy in the Rhondda Valleys of South Wales. Described as 'one of the most promising unsigned bands in the UK' (Claire Sturgess XFM) and 'F**king Brilliant' (Adam Walton BBC Radio Wales) the band are well on their way to being stuck up on young girls walls across the UK next to their posters of Kylie and Jason! The band think of themselves as the direct result of the 'walkman of human misery' culture from whence they sprang. The band formed when they discovered they had a mutual interest in dressing up in their mother's clothes and singing Marlene Dietrich songs, and have been together ever since. Comprising of Luke Williams - Guitar and vox, Mat Acreman - Bass, and Gaz Westwood on drums, the band drawinfluences from the likes of Jeff Buckley, Smashing Pumpkins, Pixies and The Beach Boys.
