So, it's 12:33 AM on Saturday, May 19. I basically just got home from The Battle of the Bands stuff and even though I'm about to fall asleep, I'm not totally ready to let that happen. So I'll tell you about all the cool stuff that went on in the past few hours.

We showed up the school for Battle of the Bands around 6 p.m., unloaded all our stuff and set up as much as of it as we could. We then found out that we were going to play last. That's something this band has never done when we played with other bands.
Skipping ahead and hour or two, we had to set up our stuff really fast after A War In May finished (and I should take a second to say that, even though it's not my kind of music, A War In May is really talented and, if they stick together, will probably make it as a band). So we set up our stuff as fast as we could, but that still took too long, as we have a lot more stuff to keep track of than the other bands. So then some of the mikes didn't work, and we had to move them over to another sound unit thing. Then after we got it all figured out, we started to play.

Fast-forward to the end of the show I think the crowd really liked us. And even though I played horribly, we ended up winning our second ever Battle of the Bands. We got $100 which is only the 2nd time in over a year this band has made money (the first being at last years Battle of the Bands). Then we went out for pizza and I think the Pizza Hut people were mad because we were there so late. And it was overall really really fun. I dont have much else to say.

Here are a few extra things I forgot to mention:
Somebody scanned their butt on a copy machine and made a ton of copies. They ended up all over the floor.
The people putting this on raised $600 for Relay For Life.
One judge said we reminded them of a first-wave, traditional ska band, which is awesome, but kind of hard for me to believe.
