The Da Vinci Sleep Method is a quintet hailing from Upstate New York. The band was formed in July of 2005 with Isaac and Connor as the first members. Both have come from strong musical backgrounds and put their experience, ingenious concepts, and whole hearts into writing the first songs for TDVSM. A few months later, the duo asked Nick and Brandon to join them on their journey. The band seemed complete and set off to play their first show. Their premier was at The New Age Cabaret with Victims of Hunger, Hollywood Funeral, and Kicking Sicily. The show was a benefit to raise money for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Over two grand was raised but TDVSM knew they had let their fans down. Equipment problems and nerves got the best of them that night. Reluctant to give up, they continued to practice their set to the point where they ate, slept and dreamt of nothing but pure rock & roll. They lowered their expectations a bit and played a small-scale show at a local bowling alley. The turnout was great. Even more people came to the second show to show their support. The boys played much better but were well aware of their potential. They continued to play shows at several local venues and improved with each performance. Then in April of 2006, Ryan joined the band and completed their sound. They are consistently writing new material and recently visited the studio to record their debut EP. The Da Vinci Sleep Method is always looking to the future and is grateful for the fans that have stood at their side since the beginning.
