The Curling band was formed in late 2005, by ex-members (Alex and Matthew) of Stiffler. Playing in punk-rock band was really amazing and we didn`t expect such support from our friends and fans. Unfortunately, we had no choice, but to give up our band because of various reasons, but the gained experience helped us a lot, so together with Alex we came up with a new project named The Curling.
This project is something new to us both. And pretty important too. Despite the fact that we like different music, like alternative, punk and even metal (Matthew does, hehe), there is one common passion to both of us - acoustic`s sweet and gentle sound. But! We`re not too much into "pure" acoustic sound, we also enjoy experimenting with different instruments too. I hope you noticed that our music doesn`t sound like the most bands, and it`s because of difference in our points of view to music in general. And I found it sweet.
