Hey everybody, thanks for checking out our page!
We are THE COMING HOUR, an Christian Hardcore/Metal band with hopes to play music as a career. We love music (particularly metal), it is our life. We also love our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and want to give him all the glory. Our goal is to make an impact in people's lives through our music and honest, sometimes brutal lyrics...
Despite some member changes, and other obstacles, THE COMING HOUR is ready to melt faces across the southwestern region. We're currently in the writing process and hope to be playing shows around the valley throughout summer of 2008. I hope you all enjoy our new sound. The style has changed, and is edgier, and definately more metal. Refer to the blog for updates about the band and what not. Thank you for all your support and prayers.... HOPE TO MELT YOUR FACE SOON!

It's our first recording ever, so let us know what you think... I also posted the lyrics, check them out. It's a deep song... But I will explain that some other time, save it for another blog. I hope to see you all at our FREE show this Suday at Bethany Bible Church. It goes from 2-5 or 6ish. There will be games, food, and fun... and it's FREE! It's going to be loads of fun, hope to be able to hang out with you guys!
We will have our black classic shirt at the show. There was some difficulty ordering the new shirt designs, so we are going to wait until the next show to release those, but if you missed out the first time, there are going to be plenty. And good news... The shirts are only going to cost $10 this show, so that's $5 off from last time... So take advantage of that.
If you haven't check out our band page on Warped Tour's website, check it out. I hope you all creat a profile (or two, or three) and vote for us everyday. If we get enough votes we will be able to play Battle of The Bands AT WARPED TOUR THIS SUMMER! SO SUPPORT US, and VOTE! :)
FUN NEWS! After taking a break from writing for a few months, James, Caleb and I have been putting our heads together to write some new material (THREE HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE!). Our goal is to have seven songs ready this summer to record our first EP, "Rise of The Afflicted".
On the topic of recording, good news! Our first song, "Savanna" should be up online in a few weeks. I will have a date for you soon. If you all enjoy it, we will make it downloadable for free. Let us know what you think!

We finished up "Savanna" in the studio today. We recorded another track of lead guitar, to bring the music together. We also recorded the two vocal tracks. It was a pretty rough session. We couldn't get quite the sound we wanted out of the mics, and the lack of time didn't help. We only have the rough copy now, but when the finished product is given to us, you guys will be the first to hear it online. Leave us feedback through comments and messages. If you like the song, let us know and we will make it downloadable. Also, before I forget... if you bought tickets for our show at THE SETS, we canceled it, so COME FIND US and get your money back. We will have a hard time finding all of you, but bring us your tickets and we will get you your money back. Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you to everyone who bought tickets and were planning on coming out to support us, we really appreciate it. We are playing another show, the info is on another blog I wrote a while ago I am sure, and it is listed under our shows. We would love to see you all come out. We should have our new shirts for that show. SEE YOU THEN!

So today we went to GCC to record our single, "Savanna". We tracked Guitars, Bass Guitar, and Drums today. Tomorrow we finish it up with the vocal tracks. James and I are going to tear it up with some vocals tomorrow! It sounds good so far, I hope you all like it!!! Can't Wait!!!
lol. I took out the part about being rough, because I am a pesimist, and it offended Christian. hahaha. Stay tuned for more! Back in the stuido Wednesday!
