The Clues formed in 2001 as a joke (under a different name), with 5 members, and only one of them could play the guitar. With only two members from the original band, they are now a "serious" band. In June 2005 they recorded an instrumental demo with 5 tracks (under the name The Neighbourhood), which they now consider poor. Shortly after, Joao Figueiredo joined the band on vocals and guitar - he left in late 2005.
Having changed their name to The Clues in early 2006, they are now inspired by artists such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Strokes, and Blur, to name a few. And they're getting better. =)
Currently, they're taking a break, but will be back to work with June, now featuring Nuno on vocals.
