To whom it may concern, The rise of CNE!

Being on tour helps you meet a lot of interesting people. Like one time in LA, at a showcase for north European bands something caught my eye, the one and only; Mr. Chuck Norris. Now, you don't just walk up to Chuck and say "Hi, I like your movies" or "Damn, you kick some serious butt"...no, I walked up to Chuck and told him I played in the band the CHUCK NORRIS EXPERIMENT. He was very amused by the fact that some Swedish guys had formed a band in his honour and we ended the conversation with me promising to send over our latest album. Normally this would be no problem, but this incident took place in the summer of 2004 and at that point the CHUCK NORRIS EXPERIMENT didn't exist. Well there was no time to waste...

...back in Sweden I hooked up with Ransom who told me he had some serious plans about putting a band together. With memebers from Tiamat, Rickshaw and Taurus we got some of the finest musicians in the west of Sweden and we started rehearsing. After just 10 meetings and 8 songs on our list we headed into the studio and recorded what was to be the CHUCK NORRIS EXPERIMENTs debut album. In the meantime labels had been showing interest in the experiment and as soon as the record was mixed and mastered it got released on Scarey Records (LP version) and Bad Attitude Records (CD version)... (And Chuck Norris got his copy).

Making an album after just 10 rehearsals has its advantages. It's obvious that the recordings have captured the very best of rock'n'roll, as it is kept simple and with no brakes involved. The recordings also captured the "live vibe" in which the record was made. All songs are recorded once, and only the first take has been used. Of course there were one or two false notes, but if OJ got away with murder we can get away with this session...and the results were blending.

After several weeks of wearing make-up, getting wasted and breaking bones with the highly acclaimed Kick your ass all over Europe-tour CHUCK NORRIS EXPERIMENT signed a deal for the American release of the debut album, soon to be released on Devil Doll Records (US). Great reviews in the papers and a massive interest from clubs and festival has turned the CHUCK NORRIS EXPERIMENT from a prank into a force to be reckoned with.
