The Checkered Flags are a studio band at this point. It is basically the creation of Scott Wahlberg. So far we have been recording at Cheritri Studios in Whitman and at SLiK Home Studio in Holbrook. We have one CD Single being readied for release soon (Ghost Race b/w Prettiest Girl on the Beach). Ghost Race is rockin Hot Rod song recorded at 165 beats per min. complete with hot rod sound effects. The Prettiest Girl on the Beach was written for Scotts daughter Melissa. It is a surf instrumental ballad with a Duane Eddy style guitar line. We are currently writing some more songs to record. If you share interest in Surf and Hot Rod music email me.
