After years of talk and months of preparation, Greensboro, NC's The Capitol are preparing to release their debut EP. Fusing their backgrounds of 80's metal, punk rock and mid-90's pop-rock, The Capitol brandishes a tried and true formula of meshing several intrinsically different, yet decidedly complementary styles. Wes, Travis and Drew got together after the breakup of local favorite OSF and hit the ground running with new material that was brought in by friends Chad and Justin. The dual guitar attack rarely hits the same note or chord making those rare moments all the more powerful, while the distance between gives a perfect calm before the storm. Expect nothing less than pure energy, solid low end and rhythm to top off this lyrically and melodically sound band.
