Tara Davies, singer-songwriter and former front girl of rock band Kill Lindsay (Winners of Porter Blacks Battle of the Bands, 2002) teamed up with guitarist Bob Parbrook to form The Canvas System. Acoustic, alternative rock with moving lyrics, catchy melodies and a unique vocal, influenced by bands and artists such as Biffy Clyro, The Counting Crows, Jimmy Eat World, PJ Harvey and Alanis Morissette.
