Coming from influences all over the musical landscape, The Buzzkills have found a niche somewhat hard to define. The early demos started as a bedroom side project and were characterized by a straight-ahead, heavy rock and punk sound. With the addition of Kyle Gilpin and Jon Weston in the fall of 2007 the band has begun to push new musical boundaries adding a much more jammy, southern rock feel. The best description would have to be a hard, classic rock band with great improvisational ability and an unbeatable energy-packed live show. Expect a different show every time around. With an extensive cover repertoire of great classic rock as well as some early 90's alternative The Buzzkills can play to any crowd, young or old. Pieced together from former members of Alexandra, 12 & 2, along with some extra help, The Buzzkills are currently booking throughout the Mid-West and are beginning work on their first album!
