Formed in early 2005, The Bright Red has risen from the ashes of some of Central Albertas most prominent bands. With just over year of existence under their belts, they have defined and re-defined themselves again and again, constantly breaking the constricts of a single genre. One minute they'll be straight up rock and roll, the next minute harmonized metal guitar riffs will pierce your ears. From melodies that could make you cry to riffage that will make you scream, TBR is defiantly one of the most exciting and promising bands to come out of the Red Deer scene in a long time.
The only thing more impressive than their music is the success of their live performances. In less than a year together, The Bright Red had already found themselves playing with Death by Stereo, The Black Maria, The Fullblast, Savannah, The Reason, Kincaide, Lights Below, Camisado, 30 Nights of Violence, and The Better Methods; with many other high profile shows planned for the near future. Also, tours of the majority of Canada are in the planning stage and should include a town close to you.
