LLoyd Joshua "Birdwalker" Sams, is a native Houstonian and a 2002 graduate from the University of Texas at Dallas receiving a Bachelors degree in International Business and Public Affairs. In 2000, el Universidad de Guanajuato in Mexico awarded Mr. Sams with an advanced certification in Mexican Business and Spanish Translations & Interpretations. While living off and on in Latin America from 1993-2004, Sams traveled extensively with his Latin jazz band named, Jatizz Land throughout Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize.

In 1998, Mr. Sams released his first jazz album entitled the Last Shall Be First, and started a music production company called, Play It Again Sams. Also an explosive latin guitarist, "Classi-Soul"pianist, and harmonica player he blends his smooth classic piano rhythms with his unique style of spiritually political spoken word poetry. He is founder of "Kinetyc InnerG," a Houston based group of artists committed to change.

In his spare time The Birdwalker operates an online travel agency called Sams Travel Services (http://www.ytbtravel.net/samstravelservices). He also is a Certified Fundraising Specialist for Non-Profit Organizations and Associations worldwide. He shares his specialized knowledge of music, writing, and languages as a full-time professional/private tutor to students from age 3 to 33.
