Its simple. Put six musicians in a room and you get music. Put the six musicians from The Belmonte Academy and you have an intense blend of harmonic guitar riffs, with hard hitting, intense screams that will give you chills down your spine. Accompanied by distinctive, salacious intense bass lines and drums to make your heart bleed, the keyboards send The Belmonte Academy into a whirl with it's spacey key transitions as a melting symphony over the guitars. With powerful, hard hitting vocals and screaming it is only the icing on the cake that completes this influential six piece from the Portland metro area. "They Lit Up Like Cities" was labeled as the Academy's first album released December 1st out on It's a Rocketship Records. What sets apart these six musicians from the scene is the extravagant live show. Not a single ounce of energy will be left after they finish their set, and will leave you with your jaws to the floor. With six flailing bodies thrown around any stage they face, they paint the floor with a depiction of their love for music, usually bloody. Their flawless live show is one to remember and will leave you wanting more. This is The Belmonte Academy.
