The Story, The Music, The Life...
Who is Brian Theoret? It's a question that can be answered in just a few words. Brian is a dreamer. Brian chases his dreams with an inspiring determination. Brian is a compassionate and honest individual who will tell you about his triumphs and his tragedies and has a passionate desire to move you, make you think, and help you feel something.
Brian Theoret, the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist for the acoustic folk-rock duo The Barlow Saints hails from the quiet hills and rolling fields of St. Albans, Vermont. All you need to understand is that music is his life, but his priorities are his family, friends, and loved ones.
When performing, Brian pours all of his emotions out onto his canvas seeking an emotional connection with anyone within earshot. He takes his homespun and rustic narratives along with his acoustic guitar and takes you on a journey of the trials of life creating coarse yet sophisticated melodies.
The Barlow Saints are really excited and are currently in the studio working hard on their debut album, Chasing Daylight. With standout tracks like Live, Another Punch for the Weary, and Inside My Head, The Barlow Saints appeal to folk fans and non-folk fans alike.
Throughout his musical journey, Brian was always drawn towards the music of such singer/songwriters as Martin Sexton, and Damien Rice and the likes of Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Brian has always had a passion for music that speaks to people. In the end, he is a man with a guitar, a pair of blue jeans and Birkenstocks with one part neck tie, and an inviting smile inducing dreamer.
