We are "The Ballroom Massacre". We play a style of music with heavy chugs, intense sweep picking, epic harmonies, and dancy riffs. We basically love to throw down as hard as possible. We've gone through some faces, but here's what we're working with right now. We have Jonathan Baker on vocals, Myles Petruskavich on guitar, Ian Conn on guitar, Chuck Wrathall on bass, and Marcel Bourgeois on drums. We started playing shows in January of 2007, and we're still going strong. We're in the process of mixing and mastering our debut EP entitled "This Town, They Control". We recorded our EP at Smashbox Studios based in Dominion, Nova Scotia. Our music is greatly influenced by our hometown bands, our friends, and of course our families. We love meeting new people, so don't hesitate to add us. Without friends, we wouldn't be where we are today. We'd like to thank all the kids that have come out to watch us play, to Shawn and Phee of Start The Show for supporting us from the start, to Joe Costello for believing in us when few people did, Mark Scott for recording our tunes, and also to Josh Whynot for making us graphics and being a rad dude. We have shared the stage with the likes of Protest The Hero, Greeley Estates, The Holly Springs Disaster, Dead and Divine, Cancer Bats, The End, Johnny Truant, Farewell To Freeway, Shotgun Rules, What's He Building In There?, Kingdoms, and countless others.
